What we're reading
Programme for Government published
Yesterday, the Scottish Government published its Programme for Government, outlining what ministers want to achieve before the next Scottish Parliament election in 2031. This five year PfG will be supported by an update each spring aligned to the Scottish Budget, with a focus on child poverty, economic growth, climate change, and public service reform.
Exploring cash first approaches
GCPH have a new report summarising the key activities, findings, and learning from Glasgow’s Cash-First Project. The report demonstrates how a coordinated, system-wide approach can strengthen responses to food insecurity in Glasgow, even in challenging circumstances, while promoting dignity, choice and access to the support people need during times of crisis.
Co-production Learning Lab Webinar: Recognition and payments
This Scottish Co-production Network webinar will be a chance to learn more about how we recognise and value people's contributions as part of co-production processes, exploring the key question: “Should people be paid for their participation?”
