Survey exploring community organisations and public health

This article was featured in the SCDC Weekly - 10th September

A new survey is looking to gain a picture of the relationship between community organisations and public health partners in Scotland.

Developed by Scottish Communities for Health and Wellbeing, CHEX, SCDC, and The Alliance, the survey is aimed at any community or voluntary organisation who is, or has been, funded by / working with public health partners.

Those public health partners include NHS Boards, Health Improvement Teams, Primary care professionals (e.g. GPs, community pharmacy, CMHTs etc), or Health and Social Care Partnership agencies.

The survey will be used to understand the emerging patterns and shared experiences of the community-led health sector over the last three years.

This learning will be used to explore how groups are making the best health improvement impact, and what enables that to happen.

The survey should take between five and ten minutes to complete and can be submitted anonymously, or you can include an email address to be part of further discussion about the relationship between public health and community-led health organisations .

Take the survey here.
