HIIC Tutor Training course dates in September 
Health Issues in the Community (HIIC) is a course that helps people understand what affects their health and the health of their communities - with collective, community development approaches at the heart. This two-day HIIC Tutor Training course is SCQF credit rated and enables you to deliver the HIIC course for participants. Tuesday 2nd and Wednesday 3rd September 2025 (both days) in Glasgow. 

Community Link Worker evaluation
Since 2014 the Community Link Worker (CLW) Programme has been supporting individuals to improve their health and wellbeing by helping them to access assistance with issues such as poverty, loneliness and isolation, housing, debt, and abuse. This evaluation highlights that the CLW service has had a positive impact on clients, foodbanks and the CLWs.
 
SURF Awards nominations close 1st September
There are just a few weeks left to apply for the SURF Awards which highlight, celebrate and share the achievements of initiatives that address physical, social and economic challenges in communities across Scotland. There are categories around Community Led Regeneration; Removing Barriers to Employability; Improving Scotland's Places; Housing and Regeneration, and Creative Regeneration.
