Guides, tools and templates to make the most out of PRs
Participation requests are one way that communities can ask to work with public bodies to make services better.
This resource pack contains a range of guides, tools and templates to help you understand the Participation Request process, the language and terms that are used, and the process involved.
It will explain how to develop and submit a participation request and signpost you to other sources of information and support.
Resources include factsheets, narrated presentations and case studies of community groups who have submitted requests.
Participation requests are a right introduced by the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015. The legislation can be found here, and the statutory guidance can be found here.
Participation requests are just one way to have a say in how to improve services and the Things to Consider section explores other routes in more detail.
