Sustainable Development: Is Scotland on target?

Scottish Community Development Centre has contributed to a ‘snapshot review’ of Scotland’s progress towards meeting the United Nations Sustainable Develpment Goals (STGs).

In the report, a range of civil society organisations have come together to assess progress in Scotland on delivering the STGs. They find that, despite some progress, Scotland is not on target to achieve a number of the Goals. Further action is therefore needed.

SCDC assessed progress towards Goal 11, Sustainable Cities and Communities. A summary of our contribution can be viewed in the accompanying infographic. Community Health Exchange (CHEX) has also contributed to the report, assessing progress towards Goal 3, Health and Wellbeing.
