Article: Climate breakdown is a human rights issue
"The right to a healthy environment within a rights-based culture directs us to address existing health inequalities and environmental injustice. For disabled people and people living with health conditions, it means not being treated as an afterthought in climate policy, but as rights‑holders whose health, dignity and participation must be prioritised in Scotland’s response to the triple planetary crisis."
'Come Away In’ anti-poverty exhibition: 19th-22nd May 2026
The Poverty Truth Community and the Binks Hub will be hosting a new exhibition at the University of Glasgow, Byres Community Hub, running from 19 to 22 May. The exhibition will showcase stories, objects and artwork that tell the story of the Poverty Truth Community over the last two decades, creating a tangible legacy for the organisation and wider anti-poverty movement.
Future Routes Fund 2026
The Future Routes for Nature Fund is for young people, by young people. The fund supports projects run by 11 to 26-year-olds and aims to help young people improve their local environment, provide more opportunities for them to connect with nature, increase their knowledge and understanding of Scottish biodiversity, and empower them to take positive action for nature and the climate.
