Third Sector Partnership
The Scottish Government has announced a new partnership aimed at strengthening  its relationship with the third sector through measures around fairer funding, shared goals and policy influence. The Third Sector Partnership will be co-designed with the sector, with an agreement in the next Scottish Parliament, subject to the outcome of the 2026 Scottish Parliament election. 

SURF Annual Conference and Hustings 
This event will be held on 12th March in Paisley Town Hall, with a key focus on the four manifesto topics of Resource Local Democracy, Deliver Affordable Housing, Commit to Fair Funding, and Invest in Public Transport. There will also be a chance to learn from over a decade of evidence from SURF's Alliance for Action place-based programme. 

Generative AI and critical thinking for professionals 
This article explores how AI is being used by professionals as part of their work. While focused on social work, the conclusions will be useful to anyone working with people and raises questions around the potential and pitfalls of AI use.
