Public Sector Equalities Duty parliamentary committee consultation
The Equalities, Human Rights and Civil Justice Committee has published its report on the operation of the Public Sector Equality Duty in Scotland (PSED). The committee has noted its concern that there is not enough progress in delivering outcomes related to PSED, and that there have been significants delays as part of the process of reform. 

Lived experience in third sector decison-making
A new resource has set out how third sector organisations can build voices of lived experience into their decision-making process. Published by THRE and Neighbourhood Networks, it explores why lived experience inclusion is important for strong decision-making and how organisations can take steps to introduce lived experience into what they do.

New video: Community-led climate solutions in the Amazon
This case study from People Powered profiles how communities living in the Amazon city of Bujaru gathered in a citizens’ assembly to deliberate on the community’s most urgent issues -scarce job opportunities, low income, biodiversity loss, food insecurity and limited public revenues. They developed community recommendations for the City, and then used legislative theater to build broader youth engagement and political support for the recommendations.
