Capturing hope and resilience in communities tackling hardship
Images in the media and communications play an important role in shaping how communities and places are represented and understood. This report explores how JRF have been working to develop a more ethical and representative approach to our visual storytelling, and one that has co-creation at its heart.

Still time to contribute to the survey: Evidencing the ESOL crisis: towards a vision for ESOL in Scotland
Over the past decade, Scotland’s ESOL sector has faced increasing pressures due to rising demand, changing demographics, austerity cuts, and the discontinuation of the Scotland ESOL strategy in 2020. Building on the findings of previous independent research and more recent work, this study seeks to improve the evidence base held on the ESOL crisis in Scotland, in order to lobby for change.

Refugee Week
Established in the UK in 1998, Refugee Week takes place every year around World Refugee Day (20th June) and has since grown into a global movement with over 2 million participants, across over 20 countries. Through an exciting programme of thousands of events, activities and media campaigns, Refugee Week brings together people from different backgrounds to connect beyond labels.
