Unbound: A new project exploring health and climate

What's the relationship between health inequalities and climate impact? That's the question a new project will be exploring with Scotland's communities.

Led jointly by SCDC and SCCAN, Unbound Scotland will work across the country to raise awareness of the power of community action to achieve local solutions that also take on global issues.

Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, Unbound will explore how we improve health and wellbeing, strengthen relationships, celebrate nature, improve air quality, and create warmer homes.

The 3-year project will focus on building skills, knowledge and confidence with communities across Scotland's 32 local authority areas.

We'll be asking: what do communities need to embed practical action around the unfair impact of climate change on health and wellbeing?

The work will also focus on supporting local and national partners to explore what healthy and resilient places look like, and how this learning can be used in their policies and practice.
