These are some of the burning questions people from around Scotland have been asking us over the last couple of years.
We've created a Frequently Asked Questions document and webpage to answer these questions in an engaging and easier-to-understand way.
So, for instance, in answer to the first question, participation requests are a new way for people to have their say about what improvements they would like to see made to public services they use.
