Fairer Scotland Action Plan following national conversation

The Scottish Government has published its Fairer Scotland Action Plan, highlighting how it intends to tackle inequality over the next 14 years.

Through the the Fairer Scotland national conversation earlier in the year, the government compiled the ideas and thoughts through a series of online engagements and events. This report takes some of those ideas, as well previously announced initiatives from the Scottish Government.

Through the themes of ending child poverty, ensuring a strong start for all young people, fairer working lives and a thriving third age, the report outlines 50 ways these issues can be addressed.

A new £29 million fund to aims to enable 'communities and the third sector to design, test and deliver new approaches to tackling poverty and improving lives.'
