Connie Dawson

Connie (she/they) has joined the team on a year-long contract. Based in the Highlands, she is a community engagement and participation specialist with a background in participatory processes across sustainability, conservation and climate change. Connie especially loves facilitating deliberative spaces and delivering creative and effective training with an eye for fun. She’s also a practising mediator – accredited by the Scottish Mediation Register – and is passionate about proactive, transformative approaches to conflict.
At SCDC, Connie will be working mainly on the Supporting Communities and Creating Hope Together programmes, as well as developing and delivering training and facilitation.
