Kate's role within SCDC focuses on Community Capacity Building and Action Research. She is currently working on the Supporting Communities national programme that facilitates communities to develop their skills and confidence; strengthen their organisations to enable them be more effective and influential in their activities. She also works on several action research projects including SCoTTS (Supporting Communities to tackle Sectarianism) part of the Scottish Government’s national anti-sectarian programme. And Animating Assets a collaborative action research and learning programme in partnership with Glasgow Centre for Population Health. Kate also delivers on smaller training and consultancy projects.
