Connie Eloise

Joining the team on a year-long contract, Connie (she/they) is a community engagement and participation specialist with a background in participatory processes across sustainability, conservation and climate change. Connie especially loves facilitating deliberative spaces and delivering creative and effective training with an eye for fun. She’s also a practising mediator – accredited by the Scottish Mediation Register – and is passionate about proactive, transformative approaches to conflict.
At SCDC, Connie will be working mainly on the Supporting Communities, Creating Hope Together and Unbound programmes, as well as developing and delivering training and facilitation.
Outside of work, you’ll find Connie swimming/screaming with the cold-water swim group she runs, pandering to the whims of her two tiny dogs, and listening to Kate Bush and Chappell Roan on repeat.
