Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm is now under construction off the coast of Angus with its onshore substation located in Cockenzie on the site of the former power station.

While Inch Cape has an established fund for the construction phase of the project, there will also be a legacy community fund to mark its conclusion.

SCDC is supporting Inch Cape by working with the communities of Port Seton, Cockenzie, and Prestonpans to shape the project’s post-construction community fund, due to open in 2027.
