Privacy statement for SCDC’s work with Inch Cape
SCDC is delighted to be supporting Inch Cape by working with the communities of Port Seton, Cockenzie, and Prestonpans to shape the project’s post-construction community fund, due to open in 2027.
SCDC take your privacy seriously. We follow data protection regulations and make sure that:

About sensitive personal information
We want to make sure our survey and focus groups represent as much of the community as possible. To do that, we've asked some questions about you. We take your privacy seriously and will handle this sensitive data with extra care. Please note:

We will ask for your consent to process this information.
When compiling the survey responses, your sensitive information will not be used in conjunction with your survey response and will only be used in aggregate and anonymously.
This information will not be shared with Inch Cape, except as anonymised statistics or any other SCDC staff member not directly involved in this piece of work.
This information will be deleted as soon as possible, once it has been analysed and aggregated.
