Share your issues, ideas, and opportunities
SCDC is delighted to be supporting Inch Cape by working with the communities of Port Seton, Cockenzie, and Prestonpans to shape the project’s post-construction community fund, due to open in 2027.
Local people know the area best, so this process is about listening carefully and helping the community influence how the fund should be shared across these communities.
SCDC is Scotland’s lead body for community development, supporting communities in Scotland to have a stronger voice in the decisions that affect them. You can read more about us here.
Our aim is to make sure the process feels open, fair and useful to the community. By working together, we want the fund to be shaped by local knowledge, local experience and local voices. This is called co-design.
