Community Health Exchange (CHEX) (current service agreement 2010 - 2011)

The Service Agreement is between NHS Health Scotland and Scottish Community Centre is for CHEX to deliver a programme of work between 1st April 2010 and 31st March 2011. 

SCDC has been grant aided by NHS Health Scotland since 2000 to support CHEX to deliver a Business Plan on community-led health, which informs, engages and contributes to Health Scotland's agenda on community-led health and intersect oral work on health inequalities.  The work programme focuses on information/ evidence sharing, capacity building and engaging with the health and social policy arena.  It also supports a network of community-led organisations to build capacity on community development approaches to health improvement and share practice across the country.
