Participatory budgeting in Scotland
Participatory budgeting is a way for people to have a direct say in how, and where, public funds can be used to address local requirements.
Increasingly taking place across Scotland, SCDC developed
PB Scotland to act as a hub for sharing and learning about the work being done by PB initiatives across the country.
Funded by the Scottish Government, the site hosts information, news and resources about the latest activity. SCDC staff attend PB events to capture engaging Event Reports to share the learning from the projects across Scotland.
PB Scotland also hosts a PB map - highlighting the PB activity happening in local communities.
