Widening the Welcome is an action research project exploring the resettlement experiences of refugees, communities and those who support them in Scotland.

Involving 239 people, the main focus was on the role of community development practice within resettlement and integration efforts.

This seminar will start at 10am with refreshments available from 9.30am. Lunch will be provided at 12.30pm.

Join us to hear the findings from the research and to discuss implications for future work to widen and strengthen the welcome we offer in our communities.

We are keen to ensure attendance of community based organisations and can provide support to those who would otherwise not be able to attend. Get in touch if that applies to you.
