Learning For Change: UN Decade for Sustainable Development: Communities Survey

SCDC is a member of a group working with Learning and Teaching Scotland and the Scottish Government on Education for Sustainable Development. The goal of sustainable development is that all people throughout the world satisfy their basic needs and enjoy a better quality of life without compromising the quality of life of future generations. There has been a growing recognition over the first five years of the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development that more can be done to help community groups to learn about sustainable development and how they can actively contribute towards it.

The Learning for Change Action Plan asks communities, and those who work with them, to do more. The goal of this survey is to have a baseline of activity currently taking place within communities on education for sustainable development to inform future thinking and planning.

Please complete the survey at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/LHXCHGN. The survey will close on Monday 21 March 2011
