Cartooning and graphic facilitation skills - free places 

Faith in Community Scotland, in partnership with SCDC, is organising a course on cartooning and graphic facilitation for trainers and presenters on Monday, 9th February 2015 in Glasgow.

This workshop is all about spicing up and enhancing communications and presentations. It is ideally suited to trainers, facilitators, educators and community workers. The course is a fun, lively and practical course and no previous drawing experience is required. 

This workshop will show you how to:

  • Draw simple cartoons and shadow figures using some basic steps
  • Use cartoons in powerpoints and hand-outs
  • Use cartoons in facilitating groups and promoting discussion
  • Use cartoons to set the scene for conferences and workshops
  • Use cartoons and line drawings to provoke discussion and debate
  • Use cartoons to bring humour and a sense of fun to the learning environment
  • Use cartoons in graphic facilitation
  • Use cartoons to liven up flipcharts and murals
  • Illustrate lining paper to tell a story or convey a linear concept
