ACE open for applications

Community groups in Scotland are invited to apply for support as part of the ACE programme. ACE stands for Achieving Community Empowerment and is funded by the Big Lottery Fund in Scotland (BIG). It is a programme of support for community groups and within it SCDC will provide at least 10 days of support for at least 10 groups a year. The support will focus on the following areas:

  • Helping groups to identify what they're good at and where they need to improve/become more effective
  • Helping groups to develop a plan of action in order to make their required changes
  • Supporting groups to put their plan into action
  • Sitting down with groups at the end of the year to review progress and identify what needs to be done next
  • Networking at the end of the year to share learning and experiences

If you are interested in applying for ACE support please contact Alison Hamill (phone 0141 248 1924/1964) or download the forms here.
