Implementing the National Standards for Community Engagement

4 key regional conferences have been planned as part of the support programme for the National Standards for Community Engagement.  The events are to enable people actively involved in using the Standards to review and address core issues that are arising in community engagement practice.

We are very keen to have a mixture of participants from agencies and community organisations from every part of Scotland.  Ideally we think the events would be most beneficial if they involved several partners from each area who are actually working together using the Standards.

The events will take place on:

• 7 December 2006 - Inverness
• 12 December 2006 - Dunfermline
• 23 January 2007 - Dundee
• 25 January 2007 - Glasgow
