Audit of the strengths and support needs of the Community and Voluntary Sector in North Ayrshire
Client
North Ayrshire Council (2005)
The Scottish Community Development Centre was commissioned by North Ayrshire Council to carry out an audit of the community and voluntary sector in North Ayrshire in order to determine the current level of capacity and state of readiness of the sector to participate in community planning processes and to identify relevant support needs. Specifically the audit clarified current levels of representation and participation; identified motivational and aspirational factors for involvement and informed recommendations for the ongoing development of community engagement within North Ayrshire Community Planning Partnership.
